Bonita Pour Femme Perfume Packaging and Structure Design

A luxury perfume bottle rests gracefully upon folds of supple leather in rich cognac and chocolate brown tones that create a warm, enveloping environment. The bottle itself takes a distinctive spherical form, crafted from deep black glass that appears almost like polished onyx, its curved surface reflecting the warm leather surroundings and ambient light. Crowning the vessel is an architectural arrangement of gleaming gold metal components, including a crescent-shaped collar that cups the top of the sphere and supports two cylindrical elements rising vertically, their polished surfaces catching light and creating bright highlights. Arching above everything, a braided leather handle in warm chestnut brown connects to the gold hardware through metal end caps, the intricate plaited pattern creating texture that would feel pleasantly ridged beneath exploring fingers. The handle forms a graceful loop, approximately matching the diameter of the bottle below, creating visual balance and offering a unique carrying option reminiscent of a miniature handbag. On the bottle's front surface, elegant gold lettering spells the name in a refined serif typeface, with smaller text below indicating the product category. Suspended from the handle by a thin leather cord hangs a rectangular tag in matching brown leather, bearing a debossed emblem featuring flowing curved lines and the product name repeated below. The leather backdrop cascades in soft diagonal folds from upper left toward lower right, creating gentle valleys and ridges that suggest luxurious texture, cool and smooth to the touch like fine upholstery leather. Light enters from the upper left, creating soft shadows in the leather folds and producing gentle gradations across surfaces, the overall illumination feeling warm and intimate like late afternoon sunlight filtering into an elegant interior space.

Challenge was to create a feminine perfume product and packaging for the GCC and African markets. Conceptualized from the visual narratives of woman’s obsession and desire, representation for fashion, class, and luxury was translated into the concept for this product along with the name "Bonita". Designers took inspiration from the Hobo handbag as a metaphor to tell the story of a woman’s obsession and desire.
