An indoor swimming pool and relaxation area unfolds before the listener, organized as a horizontal panorama of water, seating, and filtered light. Beginning at the bottom of the composition, occupying the lower third, lies a swimming pool with water so still it creates a perfect mirror surface, its color a deep blue-green like a forest pond in shadow, cool and dark with glassy smoothness. This reflective water doubles everything above it in symmetrical echo. Moving upward from the pool edge, a pale stone deck extends horizontally across the full width, its surface suggesting smooth limestone or polished travertine, cool to the touch like morning marble. Upon this deck, three pairs of contemporary lounge chairs arrange themselves at regular intervals, their frames appearing to be dark wood or bronze-finished metal, angular and geometric. Each chaise features cushions in two tones—charcoal gray on the main body with cream-colored headrest pillows, suggesting plush, yielding fabric like brushed cotton or soft linen. Small side tables positioned between chairs hold what appear to be amber-colored candles or vessels. At the left portion, a vertical column rises from floor to ceiling, clad in what suggests brushed metal or aged bronze with warm copper undertones. Beside this column hangs a rectangular lantern at eye level, emitting warm amber light reminiscent of candlelight or sunset, creating a glowing focal point against the cooler tones surrounding it. Behind the seating area, occupying the upper two-thirds of the composition, floor-to-ceiling windows covered in horizontal louvers filter exterior daylight into soft cream and taupe striations. Through these screens, bare tree branches appear as delicate silhouettes, suggesting winter or early spring. The overall atmosphere feels hushed, still, and warm despite the cool palette—a sanctuary of quietude.
