Zun Fu Sales Center

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025

This audio description presents a grand interior space designed as a sales center, viewed from floor level looking across an expansive room approximately two stories in height. Beginning with overall orientation, the space reads as rectangular with the viewer positioned at the near edge of a vast polished floor that reflects surrounding elements like still water on a gray morning. Dominating the upper portion of the composition, occupying roughly the top third of the visual field, an extraordinary suspended sculptural installation captures immediate attention through its twisting ribbon forms in silvery translucent material, suggesting frozen streams of silk or crystallized calligraphy floating weightlessly against a backdrop wall of vertical wood slats in warm honey and umber tones reminiscent of aged oak or amber resin. These wooden elements create a visual rhythm like the teeth of a giant comb, running from upper left to upper right with warm golden light emanating from behind, suggesting the glow of late afternoon sun filtered through screens. Moving to the left portion of the composition, a perfect circle cut into a dark wood wall functions as a dramatic portal approximately one story in height, its geometry as precise as a full moon. Through this circular opening, golden pine needle sculptures extend outward like reaching branches, and a small bronze horse figure in mid-gallop stands upon green stone, conveying vitality and forward momentum. The floor throughout consists of cool gray marble with subtle white veining suggesting clouds or distant mountains, its polished surface providing mirror-like reflections that double the visual complexity. At center, a substantial rectangular table approximately eight feet long serves as the focal point, its surface of creamy white marble with gray veining resting upon a base of deep black stone, creating strong tonal contrast. Upon this table sits an architectural model depicting buildings amid miniature landscaping. The background recedes into softer focus where seating areas with gray upholstery and additional decorative elements suggest spaces for conversation and contemplation. The atmosphere feels serene yet grand, like entering a temple dedicated to the appreciation of refined living.

The interior design draws on traditional Chinese spatial culture and poetic symbolism, presenting a contemporary interpretation of ceremonial architecture. Inspired by Luoyang's historical rituals, the space incorporates elements such as stone, bamboo, and peony motifs. A linear path organizes the visitor's journey through zones of arrival, negotiation, and reflection. Sculptural lighting and layered materials create a calm, immersive environment that blends cultural identity with modern aesthetics.
