Bronze A' Design Award Winner 2025
A slender residential tower rises toward the center of the view, its vertical form stretching upward through roughly two-thirds of the image height, the building presents three distinct horizontal zones that create visual rhythm as your mental eye travels from bottom to top, beginning at ground level where a street with parked vehicles in whites and dark tones establishes the urban context, a sense of solid groundedness characterizes the lower third of the tower where numerous horizontal balconies project outward in regular intervals, these balconies appear in cool gray tones like weathered concrete, rough in texture like stone, with shadows beneath each projection creating a regular horizontal stripe pattern that wraps around the building's visible facades, moving upward into the middle section, the facade shifts character toward a more perforated rhythm where the balance between solid walls and window openings becomes more equal, this zone maintains the horizontal emphasis but with lighter visual weight, then in the upper third of the tower, the building transforms dramatically into predominantly glass surfaces that would feel smooth and cool to touch like polished crystal, these floor-to-ceiling windows in pale blue tones suggesting cool morning sky reflected in glass create a sense of transparency and lightness, the building corners feature chamfered edges that soften the transition between facades and catch light differently, creating subtle value shifts along the vertical edges, the tower's overall form suggests a slight stepping-back or tapering as it rises, though the perspective view makes this subtle, framing the architectural subject on both sides are mature trees with full canopies in various green tones, to the left stands a darker green mass like deep forest shade, while to the right appears lighter yellow-green foliage like spring leaves in sunshine, these trees occupy the foreground plane and extend upward along the building's height, their organic irregular forms contrast with the building's geometric precision, smaller trees and landscaping in similar green tones cluster at the building's base, creating a park-like setting, the sky behind and above reads as pale blue with almost white near the horizon, suggesting clear atmosphere and bright daylight, the warm light appears to arrive from the upper left, creating a gentle warmth on the left-facing facades while right-facing surfaces fall into subtle shadow, the overall environment feels like a calm sunny morning in a tropical or subtropical climate, temperature perhaps comfortably warm, air still, the scene conveys a sense of aspiration and contemporary urban living, the verticality suggesting growth and possibility, the transparency suggesting openness and connection to the broader environment, the integration of greenery suggesting harmony between built and natural systems, the building's slender proportions and careful articulation communicating refinement and attention to human experience within architectural space.
Nex One Park View is a landmark on Cidade Jardim Avenue in São Paulo, near Parque do Povo, Marginal Pinheiros, and Faria Lima. Its tower, composed of three volumes connected by an exoskeleton, integrates corporate, residential, and leisure spaces. Biophilic elements bring nature into the design. The building incorporates energy efficiency, sustainable strategies, and stormwater management, earning Leed Core and Shell v4.0 certification.
