Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025
A digitally rendered three-dimensional still-life composition in vertical format presents an elegant sandal as its central subject within an ornate picture frame. Beginning with the background, a textured wall rendered in muted sage green with the appearance of aged plaster spans the upper half of the image, providing a calm neutral backdrop. Cascading from the upper left, luxurious fabric in warm terracotta, like the color of sun-baked clay or autumn leaves, drapes in generous folds that fill much of the composition. The fabric appears soft and substantial, with the texture of raw linen, creating deep shadowed valleys and luminous peaks as it catches gentle light from the upper left. At center, an ornate rectangular picture frame rendered in warm antique gold features carved decorative scrollwork along its edges, suggesting the formal presentation frames of classical museums. Within this frame, the fabric continues, creating a unified visual environment across both framed and unframed space. Resting upon the draped fabric at the frame's center, slightly below midpoint, a single sandal displays in profile view facing right. The sandal presents in soft lavender and blush pink tones, cool like morning mist against the warm surrounding palette. Its design features a supportive back strap and open toe construction, with what appears to be cushioned sole construction. To the left foreground, a tall ceramic vase in olive and ochre tones holds a spray of small yellow flowers with the brightness of marigolds or goldenrod, their delicate clustered blooms creating textural contrast against the smooth vessel. To the right, within and outside the frame, tall dried pampas grass plumes rise vertically in cream and wheat tones, their feathery heads soft as silk, emerging from pale sage-colored vessels. Additional yellow flower sprays appear at the lower right corner. The overall atmosphere suggests warmth, comfort, and quiet luxury, with soft diffused lighting creating gentle shadows throughout.
The project was made to show all the features of the product in a creative way. Being a informative but without being annoying. The purpose was to show how comfortable the product is. Art inspired by paintings and classical works carries with it a deep connection with the target audience. Taking inspiration from great works of painting is a gesture of reverence for tradition, while at the same time seeking to innovate.
