Bronze A' Design Award Winner 2025
Beginning with overall spatial orientation, this view presents a contemporary professional office interior captured from a position looking across an open workspace toward distant zones, the photograph composed in landscape format showing approximately sixty degrees of horizontal viewing angle with the eye level positioned roughly five to six feet above the finished floor, establishing a natural standing human viewpoint, moving attention upward first to the ceiling plane overhead where the most visually dramatic element commands immediate notice, an intricate geometric installation of linear lighting elements creating intersecting diagonal lines and angular forms across the pale gray ceiling surface, these luminous white bands perhaps two to three inches wide running in various directions to create dynamic crisscrossing patterns that energize the architectural volume, the lighting suggesting cool white LED sources that cast even diffused illumination throughout the space while simultaneously functioning as bold graphic elements, the ceiling itself appearing smooth and matte with subtle texture suggesting acoustic tile or gypsum board finished in soft neutral gray that reads almost white under the bright ambient lighting, descending now to the middle ground and foreground where the functional workspace unfolds, the immediate view dominated by transparent floor-to-ceiling glass partitions that create semi-enclosed zones while maintaining visual connection across the entire floor plate, these glass surfaces absolutely clear and reflective, capturing and multiplying the linear ceiling lights in their transparent depths, creating layered spatial complexity, moving left to right across the composition, the left portion shows additional glass walls with translucent vertical striping suggesting privacy film or fabric panels in soft gray-blue tones, these surfaces carrying white text identifying organizational mission statements though specific wording remains deliberately subtle within the overall composition, the central and right portions revealing the open office landscape beyond the glass, where workstation clusters organize in regular patterns, the furniture systems appearing contemporary and minimalist with low-profile desking in pale blonde wood or laminate tones and ergonomic task chairs upholstered in two distinct colors, pale gray-white and soft sage green, these chairs featuring mesh backs and arms suggesting breathable comfort designed for extended sitting, their forms curved and supportive, positioned at individual work surfaces equipped with dark monitor screens, the workstations separated by low privacy screens in coordinating neutral tones, moving toward the right side of the composition, a particularly striking vertical accent element arrests attention, a substantial cylindrical column finished in saturated cobalt blue, this vivid blue providing essential chromatic contrast against the predominantly neutral palette, its smooth surface appearing almost ceramic in its color intensity, adjacent to this blue column, additional workspace continues with more seating in the soft green tone, and here introducing another crucial element, living plant specimens in simple cylindrical planters, their fresh green foliage including what appears to be small trees or large shrubs with delicate branching patterns and verdant leaves, these organic forms introducing irregular natural geometry and warm living texture that contrasts beautifully with the hard architectural surfaces surrounding them, the plants suggesting ongoing care and the presence of natural growth cycles within the controlled interior environment, the background of the composition reveals windows fitted with horizontal blinds in pale tones, these blinds partially open to suggest natural daylight beyond while maintaining privacy and glare control, the overall environmental quality appearing bright and evenly illuminated without harsh shadows or dramatic contrasts, creating the effect of cool diffused daylight supplemented by the architectural lighting installation, the flooring throughout appearing pale and neutral, likely porcelain tile or luxury vinyl in light gray or off-white tones that enhance the overall luminosity, the temperature of the space reading as cool and crisp, suggesting climate-controlled comfort maintained around sixty-eight to seventy-two degrees, the atmosphere feeling still and quiet, the kind of controlled interior environment where ambient mechanical systems maintain consistent conditions, imagining the tactile experience, the glass surfaces would feel smooth and cool to touch, the chair upholstery soft and slightly yielding with supportive mesh that would feel breathable against the body, the plant leaves naturally soft and slightly waxy, the floor surface hard and solid underfoot, this environment projecting efficiency, clarity, professionalism, and attention to both functional performance and environmental quality, creating workspace that supports focused activity while maintaining visual interest and connection to colleagues across the open plan.
The office of Cell Resolutions, a leading regenerative medicine company, was designed with the concept of Geometric Clear. This concept created a space that conveys cleanliness and confidence, while allowing visitors to experience the potential of cellular structures. The bodies of living things are made up of organs made of different types of cells. The idea is expressed through a combination of geometric and clean elements. The addition of water, inspired by its vital role in cells, adds a stunning visual dimension to the design through the incorporation of colors.
