Working from the ground upward and from structural frame to soft surfaces, the chair's foundation consists of two massive curved wooden elements in rich dark brown walnut tones, their surfaces catching light to reveal flowing grain patterns like topographic contour lines or water current markings, these wood surfaces feeling smooth and satiny-polished, cool to imagined touch like finished hardwood. These curved wooden components sweep upward and outward from floor contact points in continuous arcs, their edges banded with lighter honey-golden wood perhaps two inches wide that glows where light strikes it, creating warm luminous outlines that define the curves' trajectories, these lighter strips suggesting the color of amber honey or golden syrup, warm and inviting. The left-side wooden element curves upward and slightly backward, while the right-side component mirrors this gesture with subtle variation in radius, the two working together like paired scrolls or embracing arms, their combined presence occupying roughly three feet in width and perhaps thirty inches in height. Cradled within this wooden architecture rest two plump cylindrical cushions upholstered in cream-colored textile with pronounced looped texture, the fabric surface appearing as soft and yielding as wool fleece or terrycloth, inviting touch, the color suggesting fresh whipped cream or warm vanilla, lighter than the sand-toned floor below and much lighter than the slate-gray wall behind.
