Scanning this square-format product photograph from background to foreground, the composition presents a dramatic still life arrangement against a rich gradient backdrop transitioning from deep blood-red at the peripheries toward darker burgundy and black at center. Dominating the right side of the background stands a large pyramidal structure, approximately half the image height, rendered in deep matte black with crisp geometric edges. In 2023, Doritos was looking for another unexpected use for Nacho Cheese. Coincidentally, flavor company Empirical came to Doritos with a new angle on its flagship flavor: a Nacho Cheese infused spirit. The limited release sold out in less than six hours. It has made its way into a variety of products: dips, popcorn, and more.
