NN Pharmaceutical Office Design

Beginning in the foreground and scanning toward the background, we encounter a series of stepped wooden platforms resembling wide stairs or bleachers, constructed from pale honey-colored timber with visible wood grain texture that would feel smooth and warm beneath the hand. Upon these platforms rest cushioned seating pads in three alternating colors: a soft coral reminiscent of sunset clouds, a gentle sage green like eucalyptus leaves, and a cool grey suggesting morning mist. These cushions appear plush and yielding, approximately two to three inches thick, inviting seated rest. Small round side tables in sage green with slender stems stand between seating areas, holding what appear to be books or magazines. Moving toward the middle ground, a tall shelving unit rises from floor toward ceiling, constructed of pale timber with a grid of square compartments, many containing potted plants with deep green glossy leaves that would feel waxy and substantial to touch. Decorative objects including what appears to be a black bird figurine and coral-colored artwork populate other compartments. To the right, built-in cabinetry in matching oak houses what appears to be a refreshment station with glassware visible through display windows. The project for the new NN office in Sofia aims to transform the working structure of the Bulgarian branch of Dutch pharmaceutical leader by creating a more efficient environment that stimulates collaboration and teamwork. To achieve this, the designers created a contemporary office that provides the necessary spaces for interaction between employees, combined with zones where one can feel comfortable and cozy, like in their own personal space. This ensures a smooth transition to working in open spaces with a flexible approach to utilizing the various zones by each employee.
