Golden Key Venue Industrial and Office Building

Platinum A' Design Award Winner 2025

Scanning this elevated aerial view of an architectural complex, the composition presents a substantial rectangular building clad in warm terracotta-colored vertical fins occupying the central and lower portions of the frame. The building reads as a horizontal mass approximately four to five stories in height, wrapped entirely in closely spaced vertical elements the warm orange-brown color of weathered copper or autumn oak leaves. These vertical fins create a textured surface like the teeth of a giant comb, casting subtle shadows that give dimensional depth to the facade. A large rectangular opening cuts through the rooftop near the building's rear, revealing a landscaped courtyard garden with green grass like fresh spring meadow and curved pathways in pale cream tones. Rising behind this terracotta volume stands a taller tower structure perhaps eight stories high, clad in translucent silvery-white material suggesting frosted glass or polycarbonate, cool and ethereal like morning mist. The white tower features subtle horizontal striations across its surface. At ground level surrounding the building, mature deciduous trees with full summer foliage in rich forest greens create a parklike setting. Paved streets and parking areas frame the property. The surrounding urban context visible in all directions shows varied buildings in grays, whites, and earth tones extending toward a hazy horizon under an overcast sky of pale steel gray. The diffused daylight creates even illumination without strong shadows, allowing clear reading of all architectural details and material textures throughout the composition.

This project acts as an Urban Catalyst, shaping vibrant city life through a blend of industries, construction, and regeneration. It features three low-rise blocks linked to a high rise zone, supported by two slanted columns. Green spaces along Chuanqiao Road and loft style stacked volumes promote creativity. The facade, clad in 28,000 red ceramic tiles, offers a minimalist look, while courtyards, terraces, and rooftop gardens enhance nature and innovation.
