This audio description presents a spacious contemporary apartment interior photographed from a position within the living area, looking across the open floor plan toward windows and adjoining spaces. Scanning from the foreground, warm honey-colored wooden flooring laid in a chevron pattern extends across the entire visible floor area, its diagonal lines creating gentle visual movement. In the left foreground sits a low-profile sofa upholstered in soft dove-grey fabric with a cool, linen-like texture, positioned parallel to the picture plane. Moving toward the center, two circular coffee tables finished in glossy black lacquer are arranged concentrically, their surfaces smooth and reflective like polished stone. Upon the upper table rests a clear glass vase holding fresh white orchid stems, their petals suggesting cool, silky delicacy. Between the sofa and the background, two armchairs upholstered in deep forest-green leather face each other, their forms suggesting supportive comfort with a cool, supple surface texture. Behind the seating arrangement, approximately in the middle ground, a series of tall cylindrical screens made from bronze-colored mesh create a semi-transparent partition, their woven surface suggesting a fine metallic texture that might feel cool and slightly rough to touch. Through this screen, a study area becomes partially visible, with wooden cabinetry and a desk illuminated by warm accent lighting. To the right of the composition, curved architectural elements define a separate zone featuring pale blonde wood paneling with vertical ribbed texture and a pleated white fabric screen, its surface suggesting soft, gathered cloth. The ceiling above is smooth and white, with recessed circular lights providing even, diffused illumination throughout, creating an atmosphere of calm clarity without harsh shadows. Near the windows at the left background, a tall potted tree with fresh green leaves introduces natural vitality, its foliage suggesting the soft rustle of living plants.

The house is located in Happy Valley, Hong Kong, a place rich in historical value. In the same place, in the same house, several generations live together. New and old cultures gather in the same space. A harmonious space is the solution to connect each other. Mahjong which is an enduring game, is added to build this kind of multi functional space to connect these generations, increase interaction and communication, use simple design techniques, pay attention to craft skills details, and create a comfortable living environment.
