Scanning from ceiling to floor in this interior architectural photograph, the uppermost two-thirds of the image presents an extraordinary sculptural installation composed of numerous ribbon-like sheets of highly polished aluminum metal, their surfaces reflecting light with the cool silver brilliance of water under overcast sky. These metallic forms twist, curl, and undulate in organic configurations suggesting flowing liquid captured mid-movement, creating a dynamic overhead canopy that appears to hover above the space below. The aluminum ribbons vary in width and curvature, some forming tight spirals while others sweep in broader arcs, their edges catching light to create bright linear accents against darker shadowed areas where metal overlaps metal. Moving downward from this sculptural ceiling, the middle ground reveals a long corridor space flanked by walls finished in deep charcoal gray, a color suggesting cool shadow or evening twilight. To the left, a low horizontal element in warm honey-toned natural wood provides tactile and thermal contrast, its smooth surface evoking the warmth of sun-touched timber. The spatial arrangement creates a strong sense of depth, with walls converging toward a distant illuminated doorway that glows with soft, cool daylight suggesting an overcast exterior. Within this threshold stands a solitary human figure dressed in flowing white garments that fall to ankle length, their form providing essential scale reference, suggesting the ceiling installation rises perhaps three to four meters above floor level. The overall atmosphere feels contemplative and somewhat hushed, with the implied stillness of a gallery or sanctuary. Light appears to emanate from within the ceiling structure itself as well as from the distant doorway, creating gentle illumination that models the metallic surfaces into three-dimensional forms while casting subtle shadows onto the surrounding walls. The floor appears as a neutral gray surface, cool and smooth underfoot.

They performed the design for shared office spaces. Inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship techniques for making kimonos using a single piece of cloth, here, a aluminum sheet is spread across the entire ceiling and fills the space with waves of vitality, like that of the sunlight shining on the surface of the paddy fields of yesteryear. The overlapping metallic waves create areas of different heights and expanses of space that change freely, as water flows in a lively and reactive manner, thus suffusing the area with the necessary functions and atmosphere.
