Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025
Scanning this exhibition entrance installation from back to front and left to right, the composition presents a large illuminated archway structure approximately three stories in height, positioned centrally within a commercial interior space with polished dark flooring that reflects the installation's colors. The background visible at upper left features a wall covered in a grid of large circles in vibrant colors including bright pink like fuchsia blossoms, deep purple like grape, yellow-green like spring leaves, and orange like citrus fruit, all against a charcoal surface, creating a festive backdrop. The primary structure consists of a tall rectangular frame outlined in warm golden-white light, like the glow of champagne, within which a series of nested archways recede toward the center. These arches glow in cool blue tones, the outermost being deep cobalt blue like twilight sky, transitioning through progressively lighter blues resembling clear daytime sky, until the innermost arch reveals an image of ocean meeting sky at the horizon with soft white clouds suggesting peaceful vastness. The surface of the arches appears smooth and luminous, like polished glass catching electric light. Flanking the main archway stand two tall cylindrical sculptural elements, approximately human height, constructed from white perforated metal mesh that creates a delicate honeycomb texture, cool and airy to imagine touching, like fine latticed metalwork. These emit soft white light from within. The ground platform beneath the structure is covered in bright chartreuse carpet, warm and inviting like fresh spring grass, extending forward in an organic curved shape. Two terracotta-colored cylindrical pedestals, warm like sun-baked clay, support additional smaller white mesh sculptural elements. White text integrated into the illuminated frame announces the exhibition, rendered in clean modern lettering. The overall atmosphere feels celebratory yet sophisticated, the cool blue light creating a sense of calm invitation.
