Goldwin Headquarters Office Interiors

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025

This architectural interior photograph presents a large contemporary office or lobby space viewed from a position near the left edge, looking across and toward the far wall. Scanning from ceiling to floor, the overhead zone dominates the upper half of the composition, revealing an exposed industrial ceiling featuring extensive silver-grey metal ductwork, pipes, and mechanical infrastructure arranged in horizontal bands running parallel to the viewer's sight line. Suspended below this mechanical layer, elongated tube-shaped light fixtures emit bright cool white light, arranged in diagonal patterns that converge toward the distant back wall, creating a sensation of linear rhythm overhead reminiscent of rain falling at an angle or branches stretching toward light. The walls consist of large rectangular panels in a muted graphite grey, suggesting smooth concrete or composite material with subtle texture, these panels extending across the back wall and partially along the left side. The floor presents two distinct treatments: the left portion features polished concrete tiles in pale grey with a slight reflective sheen suggesting smooth, cool surfaces underfoot, while the right portion transitions dramatically into irregular stone fragments fitted together like a natural puzzle in varying shades of slate, charcoal, and medium grey, evoking the tactile roughness of mountain rock or dried stream beds. Along the left wall, simple cubic seating blocks in warm honey-toned wood provide contrast, their surfaces suggesting the smooth grain of oak or ash, warm to the touch. The right side features substantial indoor plantings including trees with abundant green foliage ranging from deep forest green to bright spring-like verdant tones, positioned in weathered concrete planters against a textured wall surface in earthy tan and brown tones resembling raw earth or clay. The atmosphere feels spacious, calm, and purposeful, with cool ambient temperature suggested by the industrial materials balanced by warmth from the wooden elements and living greenery.

The headquarters relocation project of Goldwin, a company that develops global brands such as The North Face, has yielded a unified office space of 6,000 square meters. This new space serves as a platform for communication and as a base for the Goldwin's global outreach. In line with the company's commitment to authenticity, only natural materials have been used for all finishing materials. The design concept envisions a harmonious integration of the six floors into a unified entity, akin to a single tree, creating an organic spatial composition with distinct expressions on each floor.
