Scanning this interior from ceiling to floor then outward through the surrounding spaces, visitors encounter a large rectangular room dominated by a dramatic central garden installation beneath an open skylight, the ceiling presents warm honey-colored wood planking running horizontally across the full width, creating a sense of sheltering enclosure with a color reminiscent of sunlit maple syrup or amber resin, at center a rectangular opening approximately one-quarter the ceiling area reveals soft grey sky light filtering downward, the edges of this aperture lined with dark metal framing, below this skylight opening a garden emerges from the floor, three slender young trees rise from the composition, the tallest perhaps reaching two meters, their delicate branches carrying fresh spring-green leaves that catch and scatter the overhead light, these trees grow from an artfully arranged bed of stones, the stones varying from palm-sized pale cream and white fragments with rough porous surfaces like coral or weathered limestone to larger grey-brown boulders smooth as river rocks, scattered pieces of silvered driftwood with smooth weathered surfaces rest among the stones, the entire garden bed sits upon a field of small grey gravel with a texture like coarse sand, this gravel extends outward creating a buffer zone before meeting the surrounding floor surface of large square grey tiles smooth and cool like polished concrete, to the left behind floor-to-ceiling glass panels a bathroom space contains a wall-mounted shower head with dangling fixture, the walls finished in pale stone-like material, to the right a sitting area features a low contemporary sofa upholstered in soft grey fabric with texture suggesting woven linen, behind this a pale wood cabinet runs along the wall beneath windows admitting secondary daylight, the overall atmosphere suggests profound stillness and contemplative quiet like entering a sanctuary where time slows and breath deepens.
