Sialk Multi Patterns Wood Flooring

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025

Listeners will encounter a sculptural wood flooring composition photographed from above against a gray concrete surface, presenting an irregularly shaped assembly of warm-toned wooden planks arranged in a modified herringbone pattern with distinctive wave-like curves. Beginning with overall orientation, the flooring piece occupies approximately three-quarters of the square frame, positioned slightly above center and extending from upper left toward lower right. The shape resembles a wide arrow or chevron pointing toward the upper right corner, with dramatic zigzag edges along both the top and bottom perimeters creating mountain-peak and valley profiles. The wood presents colors like warm honey, amber, and caramel, suggesting the comfortable warmth of sunlit autumn leaves or golden hour light filtering through amber glass. Individual planks run diagonally, meeting at center to form the characteristic V-shaped herringbone arrangement, yet rather than maintaining straight edges, each board follows gentle undulating curves that create a wave pattern flowing horizontally across the surface. Moving from left to right, approximately six to seven wave crests and troughs ripple through the composition, their curves smooth and flowing like gentle swells on a calm sea. The wood grain reveals natural figuring with distinctive cathedral patterns, the surface appearing satiny and smooth to the touch, as though one might run fingertips across polished, well-finished hardwood and feel subtle warmth emanating from the organic material. Joints between planks appear as fine dark lines that follow the curving profiles, creating parallel rhythmic stripes across the amber field. The concrete background presents a cool, neutral gray with subtle textural variation and fine crack lines visible particularly in the upper portion, providing temperature contrast that emphasizes the wood's inherent warmth. The upper right peak of the composition reaches nearly to the frame edge while a pronounced valley notch appears at bottom center, and a smaller triangular void occurs at lower left where the chevron pattern creates its distinctive geometric silhouette.

Highlighting the softness and freedom by free forms and lines in a natural context in praise of culture and tradition of ancient. This is the philosophy of this design. Changing the previous mentality to the new vision, imagination and re-thinking on the patterns of wood floors to inter the modern life style.
