Scanning this grand hotel lobby interior from background to foreground, the most distant visible area reveals multiple levels of interior balconies suggesting a tall atrium space extending several stories upward, finished in white with regularly spaced openings. Moving forward through the middle ground, elaborate white decorative screens rise from floor level toward the ceiling, their surfaces pierced with numerous circular apertures of varying sizes arranged in organic flowing patterns, creating a lace-like effect that allows glimpses of spaces beyond while establishing distinct architectural zones. These screens feel simultaneously substantial in their white-painted material presence yet airy and permeable through their many openings. The ceiling above features ornamental medallions painted in colors suggesting warm turquoise like shallow tropical waters, coral pink like sunset clouds, and gold like late afternoon sunlight, these circular decorations creating focal points of concentrated color within the predominantly ivory and cream environment. Suspended brass lanterns in hexagonal forms hang at varying heights, their surfaces warm like polished honey, emanating amber-toned light that creates intimate pools of illumination. The foreground presents a seating arrangement of generous curved sofas upholstered in cream-colored leather with distinctive button-tufted surfaces that would feel plush and yielding like well-padded cushions, their forms following classical furniture traditions with scrolled arms and substantial proportions. Decorative pillows in geometric black and cream patterns add textural interest. The floor beneath consists of polished marble in deep forest green with cream and gold veining, its highly reflective surface mirroring the architectural elements above and creating a sense of depth extending downward. The overall atmosphere suggests cool interior refuge, perhaps with subtle climate-controlled air, quiet elegance, and the hushed ambiance of refined hospitality spaces where footsteps might echo softly against stone surfaces.

At Ouattro Beach Spa Resort Hotel, we examined all the cities of France that bear traces of Romanesque influences. The details were inspired by the elegant facades of French streets and Roman arches. Inspired by the monasteries and Notre Dame cathedrals in France, we combined durability and dynamism in this project. The space is a masterpiece inspired by the smells of fresh bread and bakeries we encountered while traveling in France. It offers a unique and inviting atmosphere with its natural features and fine details.
