Pay des Fees Medical Cosmetic Clinic

Bronze A' Design Award Winner 2025

The interior environment occupies a reception area within a medical cosmetic clinic, presenting a spatial experience defined by flowing curved surfaces and gentle luminosity that together create an atmosphere of serene contemporary refinement, scanning the view from right to left and background to foreground to build a coherent mental map of this carefully orchestrated environment. The right two-thirds of the space features a dominant curved wall that bends gently inward, its surface covered in closely spaced vertical ribs or narrow fins creating a texture that would feel like the rhythmic alternation of shallow grooves and ridges if touched, imagine running fingertips across fine pleated fabric or the fluted column of classical architecture translated to intimate scale, these vertical elements appear in a soft warm white or pale ivory tone that catches light along each projecting edge while gentle shadows settle in the recessed channels between. Centered within this textured curved wall sits illuminated signage rendered as a continuous line drawing in bright white light, forming what appears to be an abstract calligraphic symbol or stylized letterforms that seem to float luminously against the ribbed ground, the light has a cool white quality suggesting LED technology, crisp and contemporary in character. The curved wall meets the ceiling without a traditional corner; instead, surfaces blend through gentle transition, the ceiling itself curves downward in organic waves rather than remaining flat, along these curved ceiling edges runs concealed indirect lighting that washes the architectural surfaces in warm golden amber glow, creating the visual sensation of soft sunrise illumination or candlelight warmth without visible fixture or harsh glare, this gentle light feels like warmth on skin, diffused and enveloping. The flooring throughout appears as highly polished pale gray stone, perhaps marble or large-format porcelain, its glossy surface reflecting the curved walls, ceiling details, and lighting above like a still pool of water, creating doubled ghostly images that amplify the sense of spaciousness and add a layer of visual complexity, the floor would feel cool and smooth underfoot, the temperature of polished stone, perfectly level and seamlessly joined. Moving toward the left portion of the space, the middle ground reveals a horizontal reception desk or service counter, its front surface clad in what appears to be textured stone or richly grained material in warm gray-brown tones, behind this counter rises a wall with recessed shelving displaying bottles and products, flanked by white cabinetry, a slender dried botanical arrangement in soft beige tones rises from the counter area adding a single note of organic irregularity to the otherwise refined geometry. In the left foreground sits a rounded upholstered ottoman or seating element in warm taupe fabric, its circular form echoing the curved architectural language, appearing soft and yielding, the kind of surface that would compress gently when sat upon, positioned on the reflective floor where its mirrored image creates a doubled oval form. Through a doorway opening visible in the left background, additional space extends deeper into the clinic, where similar white surfaces and golden lighting suggest spatial continuity throughout the facility. The overall environment conveys hushed quietude, the sense of a carefully controlled sanctuary where every surface, light source, and object contributes to an atmosphere of calm sophistication, the temperature of the space suggested by the warm lighting and neutral tones would feel comfortably temperate, neither cool nor warm but perfectly balanced, the air still and peaceful, absent of visual clutter or jarring contrast, inviting the visitor to move slowly through this gentle spatial choreography where curved architectural volumes guide the body and soft light soothes the eye.

The layout flows like a ribbon flexible yet structured. Soft, bright colors and mist-like wall textures create an inviting entrance. Linear lights guide visitors, enhancing the experience. Milky brown and elegant white intertwine like the natural tones of skin, creating warmth and connection. Curved walls and cabinets add a gentle visual touch, evoking a smile or a soft gaze. The space gradually reveals a sense of calm and elegance, finding a balanced rhythm that feels both natural and refined.
