Genuine Minzui Mixed Use Building

Bronze A' Design Award Winner 2025

A multi-story residential building rises vertically before you, photographed in clear daylight that illuminates its façade evenly, the structure reaching approximately fifteen stories in height with its primary face oriented directly toward your viewpoint creating a frontal elevation perspective, beginning at the lower left corner verdant green foliage from street-level trees provides organic texture suggesting leaves and branches in summer fullness, moving upward the building façade organizes itself into a rhythmic pattern of alternating horizontal bands, the predominant color scheme combines warm beige tones like the color of sand or light tan ceramic tile with cooler gray tones suggesting concrete or stone, these beige bands run horizontally across the width of the building as solid panels perhaps two to three feet in height, between each beige band deep recesses appear as darker charcoal or black horizontal voids roughly eight to ten feet in height housing floor-to-ceiling windows with glass that reflects the pale blue sky creating surfaces that read as cool blue-gray mirror-like planes, thin metal railings in dark gray or black run along these recessed balcony spaces providing linear detail, the left two-thirds of the façade follows this systematic horizontal rhythm while the right edge presents a secondary vertical element clad in lighter cream or pale gray tones that projects slightly forward creating subtle dimensional layering, at the uppermost portion the roofline demonstrates geometric complexity with angular projecting planes and cantilevered forms, most striking at this upper register a rectangular volume clad entirely in bright vermillion-orange emerges from the roofline composition providing vivid warm color contrast like a red-orange poppy against the neutral field below, this accent element appears smooth and matte in finish suggesting painted metal or composite panel, the overall texture of the building reads as smooth and refined with crisp edges between materials, the lighting condition suggests midday with sun high overhead creating even illumination without dramatic shadows except within the deep horizontal recesses which hold cool darkness, the sky behind appears as pale blue with slight atmospheric haze suggesting clear weather, the adjacent building visible at right edge presents darker gray or charcoal tones with square window punches providing contextual reference, the overall impression combines rational geometric order through repetitive banding with moments of architectural playfulness achieved through the orange accent and irregular roofline, the building surface feels smooth and contemporary suggesting precision construction and refined material selection, the recessed glazing creates a tactile sense of depth as if you could trace your fingers along each horizontal band feeling the transitions from projecting panel to recessed glass to projecting panel in rhythmic succession ascending the tower.

The project centers on creating a stylish lifestyle that meets the needs of modern people and aims to convey an iconic aesthetic and atmosphere. In addition to the customized tiles, the design team also cut the tiles at the corners of the facade at a 45 degree angle. To make the project no stereotypical, they applied asymmetrical forms to achieve harmonious proportions precisely. Surrounded by greenery, the high quality art community brings the quality of life to a new level.
