Client Vs Designers Board Game

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025

This description presents a board game product photographed from above in a carefully arranged flat lay composition. Scanning from upper left toward lower right, the eye first encounters a rectangular box lid in soft dove gray, smooth to the touch like fine cardstock, bearing bold black typography reading "CLIENT VS DESIGNERS" with a subtitle promising the beginning of a great relationship. Beside and slightly beneath this lid, the box base sits open, revealing a pristine white interior organized into a grid of twelve circular recesses. Each recess cradles a transparent acrylic disc approximately the diameter of a large coin, smooth and cool as polished glass. These tokens feature playful character illustrations rendered in bold black lines against the clear material, each depicting a different stylized face with distinctive features suggesting various personality types, some wearing glasses, some with elaborate hairstyles, others with beards or headphones. The illustrations possess a friendly, approachable quality with rounded forms and expressive simplicity. Scattered across the lower portion of the composition, additional tokens rest atop printed sheets that appear to be game boards or instruction materials. These sheets display a grid pattern in pale gray with text identifying professional roles such as Executive Creative Director, Junior Designer, and Account Manager. The lighting falls gently from above, creating soft shadows beneath each raised element that ground them in space without harsh contrast. The overall color atmosphere feels cool and sophisticated, dominated by grays ranging from the palest silver to deeper charcoal, warmed slightly by cream-white backgrounds. The tactile environment suggests smooth, premium materials throughout, from the matte finish of the packaging to the glossy clarity of the acrylic tokens. A sense of organized playfulness pervades the arrangement, suggesting both professional context and lighthearted engagement.

This is a board game inspired by the stereotypical adversity between clients and designers. With every experience, it is the foundation of a long lasting relationship. The concept originated from the game Animal Chest and it is a playful attempt to illustrate that every great relationship starts from a place of understanding each other. The inspiration comes from some of the key points that might frustrate each side to act as a trap. The key job positions of each side are chosen and given different rankings to battle and overpower each other.
