PEDIATRIC CLINICS INTERIOR DESIGN

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2024

This interior space presents a pediatric waiting area designed for children and families, rendered with abundant natural light and warm artificial illumination creating an inviting atmosphere. Beginning at the foreground, four sculptural chairs in bright sunshine yellow command immediate attention, their forms resembling friendly creatures with curved backs arching protectively and three sturdy legs providing stable support, arranged in an informal circle around a cream-colored cylindrical table featuring vertical grooves along its base like gathered fabric pleats. The floor beneath presents as smooth warm gray, feeling perhaps like soft rubber underfoot. Moving deeper into the space, tall cylindrical columns rise from floor toward ceiling in varied colors progressing from left to right: a dusty terracotta suggesting sun-warmed clay, natural wood with visible grain patterns warm as polished oak, soft sage green like spring leaves, and gentle blue-gray reminiscent of morning sky. A substantial wooden beam traverses overhead from left to right, its honey-brown surface catching light and providing architectural warmth like the exposed structure of a beloved barn or treehouse. Suspended from above, round pendant lights float like small moons in soft white and gentle pink, their glow diffused and comfortable like paper lanterns. In the middle distance, whimsical tree sculptures rise from circular green platforms, their simplified wooden trunks branching into horizontal arms supporting flat circular canopies, suggesting a friendly forest designed for imagination. Additional chairs in sage green gather near these tree forms. Circular shapes repeat throughout as wall recesses and decorative elements creating visual rhythm. The overall sensation combines playful energy with serene comfort, temperatures feeling warm and welcoming, sounds implied as soft and muffled, the space inviting exploration while providing reassuring boundaries.

The most beautiful place where reality seems completely unreal is a desert oasis. Patients and visitors are immersed into a dream-like environment safe and fascinating at the same time. A fun, creative and distracting space inspired by the desert oasis and mirage. Enchanting tree, sensory walls, peek a boo and mushroom pods are all elements stimulating the kid's curiosity and cognitive development. The floor curves mimic the movement of the wind on the sand dunes. The reflective ceiling blurs the space limits and reinforces the illusion effect; the floating spheres add a touch of poetry.
