Nubank Corporate interior

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2024

Scanning this expansive corporate interior from ceiling to floor, you encounter first a dramatic overhead installation of deep purple mesh netting stretched across exposed industrial infrastructure, creating a textured canopy that feels like woven grape-colored fabric floating overhead. Suspended within and below this mesh are dozens of spherical lanterns, some glowing with warm honey-colored light like captured sunlight, others emitting softer cream illumination, creating a constellation of gentle warmth against the cool purple surround. Descending from varying heights, large glossy spheres in deep eggplant purple catch and reflect light across their smooth curved surfaces, appearing like oversized fruits or decorative ornaments approximately the size of beach balls. The back wall commands attention with an optical pattern of purple circles against white, graduating in size from large polka dots to smaller ones, creating a mesmerizing visual rhythm that seems to pulse and shift as you scan across it. This perforated surface reveals glimpses of structural elements behind, adding depth to the pattern. Below this optical wall, an exuberant mural stretches across the space featuring whimsical illustrated creatures with multiple eyes in purple and coral tones, geometric symbols, stylized flowers, and playful graphic elements in lime green, orange, and turquoise accents against white ground. In the foreground, a casual seating area presents round white tables paired with gracefully curved chairs in natural pale wood, their smooth birch surfaces suggesting warmth and organic comfort. To the right, large three-dimensional letters in matte white create sculptural presence, while nearby a contained area filled with hundreds of small purple balls creates a playful interactive feature. Natural daylight filters through tall glass walls at right, balancing the saturated interior palette with neutral exterior views.

The design concept, based on the social network as a support for liquid modernity, reflects a conscious adaptation to the changing demands of the environment. In this sense, the design of this social network stands as a creative response to the tensions and paradoxes of the contemporary era, providing a meeting space that balances the need for constant adaptation with the pursuit of genuine and meaningful relationships. One of the challenges of the project was to ensure that each room, every corridor, and every corner, in general, became part of the conceptual narrative and was unique.
