Seasun Interior Design

A contemporary interior lounge space unfolds before you, organized around a dramatic ceiling of closely spaced black horizontal slats that run from above your viewing position toward a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows ahead. Warm amber light glows between these dark slats, creating a striped pattern of black and golden illumination overhead. The far wall consists entirely of tall glass panels divided by dark frames, revealing a daytime view of modern buildings, a body of water, and distant islands under an overcast sky. Scanning the floor area from left to right, the left wall features built-in cabinetry in matte charcoal gray with clean minimal hardware, and a small appliance with a red-framed door sits within the millwork. Moving toward center, the main seating arrangement includes two distinctive rocking seats shaped like large red lips, perhaps knee-height, with smooth curved surfaces that appear cushioned, resting on curved wooden bases. Behind these playful pieces, a deep burgundy armchair with generous velvet upholstery sits beside small dark gray fabric poufs resembling smooth rounded stones. A low circular coffee table with a white surface and dark legs anchors this grouping. To the right of center, a wide lounge chair in warm taupe fabric supports a bright yellow sunflower-shaped cushion, with matching golden throw pillows adding warmth. The floor throughout is polished concrete in neutral gray, cool and smooth underfoot. Along the right edge, a translucent orange-tinted partition glows like sunset through colored glass, offering filtered views into an adjacent space containing orange sculptural elements and yellow geometric forms suggesting a play area. The overall atmosphere feels simultaneously sophisticated and welcoming, balancing industrial materials with plush textiles and playful forms.

This project is an office design for Seasun Games, a leading video game publisher in China. The designers use elements of anime, vibrant colors and diverse ways of interaction to highlight the role of Seasun as a game developer and its corporate culture and spirit while creating an efficient, comfortable and healthy working environment for its employees.
