The Gorgeous Land Residence

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2023

Scanning this luxurious residential interior from an elevated vantage point looking downward, the composition presents a sophisticated double-height space dominated by a striking glass pavilion structure occupying the center and extending toward the far wall. Beginning with the background, a gridded framework of slender brass or bronze metal bars creates a three-dimensional cage-like enclosure, each rectangular cell holding a beveled glass panel that catches and refracts light with faceted brilliance reminiscent of cut crystal, the color temperature reading as warm champagne gold like afternoon sunlight filtered through honey. Within this luminous cage, approximately forty elongated glass pendant lights descend at varying heights, their forms suggesting stretched teardrops or laboratory vessels, each emitting a soft warm glow like candlelight, the overall effect resembling frozen rain or a vertical garden of light. Moving to the middle ground, a sleek rectangular console table in rich dark brown, smooth as polished chocolate, stands within the glass enclosure, its minimal form providing grounding weight. The left wall displays floor-to-ceiling vertical oak wood paneling in pale golden tones with visible grain texture suggesting the warmth of sun-warmed timber, illuminated from above by concealed lighting that washes down the surface like liquid gold. The right wall features tall windows with ribbed or reeded glass creating soft vertical striations, the filtered daylight appearing cool and diffused like morning mist. The foreground presents a floor of polished white marble with dramatic gray veining flowing like smoke or watercolor, cool and smooth as river stone to imagine underfoot. Cutting through this marble, a geometric pathway of small white triangular tiles interlocks in a repeating pattern creating visual texture like woven fabric or fish scales. To the lower right, three circular disc-shaped objects in dark gray mesh material rest on the marble, their overlapping arrangement suggesting lily pads, their matte surfaces contrasting with surrounding reflective materials. The overall atmosphere feels serene and luminous, suggesting quiet sanctuary.

Upstairs, the designer has set the VIP room concept as the brainstorming point to create an immersive and welcoming experience. The warmth of the space has been produced through the wood, and the space turns into a comfortable and pleasant guest reception area. On the other side, the configuration of distinct materials at the counter produces rich spatial layers. Moreover, the designer has planned the lounge and meeting room on the fourth floor with many wood elements, offering the users a relaxing and comfortable space. The two areas are defined by a transparent partition.
