Silver A' Design Award Winner 2022

This architectural photograph presents a contemporary two-story residential building viewed from a frontal perspective across a curved driveway and manicured lawn, captured during soft evening light. Scanning from background to foreground, a pale silvery-blue sky occupies the upper portion, transitioning from light dove gray at the horizon to deeper periwinkle tones above. The building itself dominates the composition, featuring walls finished in warm cream and dove-gray tones resembling smooth limestone, with the texture appearing matte and slightly chalky to the touch. The most striking feature is an elaborate system of angular dark gray steel beams that wrap around the structure, creating a complex geometric lattice that resembles frozen lightning bolts or abstracted mountain ridges. These steel elements, cool charcoal in color like weathered iron, angle sharply upward toward a peak at the building's crown, then cascade downward in zigzagging patterns across the façade, creating diamond and triangular openings through which large glass windows and balconies become visible. The steel would feel smooth but industrial, with the cool temperature of metal on a temperate day. The ground level reveals interior illumination glowing warmly golden through tall glass panels, suggesting welcoming interior spaces. Moving to the foreground, a curved concrete pathway in pale gray sweeps across the lower portion, bordered by a lush lawn of vibrant emerald green that would feel soft and cool underfoot like thick carpet. Two ornamental palms rise from the grass, one silver-blue bismarck palm to the left with fan-shaped fronds spreading outward, and smaller specimens creating tropical accents. The overall atmosphere suggests tranquil evening settling, with implied stillness and the gentle temperature of subtropical dusk.

A house with an unusual design. Large aluminum brise soleil form a contemporary facade, a dynamic composition with lots of movement. The climate of the region is characterized by high temperatures. These brise soleil protect the internal environments from intense luminosity and heat during the day. The integration of exterior and interior is made by big glass panels. Stunning environments and double height ceilings also characterize the architecture of this project. Environmentally friendly solutions such as photovoltaic panels for solar energy were used to give the finishing touches.
