Golden A' Design Award Winner 2022

This architectural visualization presents twin sculptural high-rise towers rising against a soft blue sky with delicate white clouds. Scanning from background to foreground, a distant city skyline appears as a pale blue-gray silhouette along the left horizon, establishing urban context. The two towers dominate the composition, occupying approximately three-quarters of the image height. The left tower, slightly shorter, exhibits a graceful cylindrical form wrapped in horizontal white bands that create a striated texture like stacked rings, suggesting surfaces smooth as polished porcelain yet structured like layered sediment. The right tower rises taller with more dramatic serpentine curvature, its form twisting gently as it ascends, similarly wrapped in horizontal white elements but with integrated bands of fresh green vegetation creating visual contrast like emerald ribbons woven through white fabric. Both towers lean subtly toward each other in their upper portions, their peaks crowned with transparent crystalline glass structures that catch bright sunlight creating warm golden highlights. The horizontal elements cast rhythmic shadows creating a textural pattern suggesting the cool smoothness of metal louvers. Between and around the towers, patches of verdant greenery appear at various levels, their emerald tones providing organic warmth against the cool white architecture. At ground level, a landscaped plaza features mature deciduous trees with full green canopies, their forms providing a sense of scale suggesting the towers rise perhaps fifty stories or more. Small figures of people appear as dots along pathways, emphasizing the monumental scale. The lighting suggests late afternoon with warm golden tones illuminating western surfaces while eastern faces rest in cool blue-gray shadow. The overall atmosphere feels aspirational and serene, suggesting innovation harmonized with natural principles.

Located in the CBD area of the city, the project is next to Diehu Lake, the main landscape of the central axis. Taking advantage of the natural landscape of Diehu Lake, the twin towers are inspired by the form of a butterfly. With the objective of the backyard of Shanghai and Qidong Citizens' Leisure Circle, as well as a great healthy ideal community, the complex will become a healthy community featuring ecological residences with fitness parks. The project integrates a new lifestyle and opens a new chapter in Qidong with a butterfly form to express the inheritance of the times.
