Scanning from background to foreground through this architectural visualization, the most distant layer presents a clear evening sky of cool cerulean blue, deepening toward cobalt at the upper edges, punctuated by the dark silhouettes of mature pine trees whose feathery needled branches create organic patterns against the luminous atmosphere. The middle distance reveals a multi-level dwelling composition, with an upper glazed volume at center-left featuring warm interior illumination visible through floor-to-ceiling windows, while perforated metal screens of cool grey-blue create privacy barriers with their rhythmic dot patterns, appearing like woven metal fabric. Descending into the covered terrace space that dominates the central and foreground zones, a dramatic ceiling plane of warm timber planks extends overhead at a pronounced angle, the parallel boards creating strong directional lines from upper left toward center right, their surface suggesting the smooth warmth of finished cedar with tight linear grain patterns. A remarkable vertical element commands attention at center, a slender pine tree trunk of reddish-brown bark rises through the open courtyard, piercing between roof planes to continue upward, its presence feeling like weathered wood with textured, slightly rough surface beneath fingers. The left wall presents textured concrete panels with vertical striations, cool grey material catching warm accent light from below that emphasizes each groove and ridge like corduroy fabric translated into stone. The foreground living area offers cream-colored modular seating, plush cushions suggesting soft, yielding surfaces that would compress gently under weight, arranged upon a timber deck of weathered grey planks with visible grain running horizontally. A sculptural floor lamp at left features branching metal arms holding small constellation lights like captured stars. The overall atmosphere feels hushed, contemplative, with coolness of evening air balanced by warm glow from within, suggesting shelter embracing those who rest here.
The house with a total area of 1000 sq. m is located in Repino, Leningrad region. The project had one strong stylistic limitation: all the residences in that villa community had to be in a Wright-like style. The result is a completely original project but with consideration of this requirement. The house is well integrated into the landscape. The aim is to preserve as many existing trees as possible; some of them will go through the canopies to create a unique rhythm and better architecture and nature relationship.
