Mountain Chalet Private Residence

Scanning this interior photograph from foreground to background, we encounter first a curved dining table of rich brown wood occupying the lower third of the image, its surface hosting several metallic goblets with textured silver bowls mounted on bronze stems that twist upward like bare branches, accompanied by delicate white orchid flowers on organic bronze holders suggesting natural growth forms. Moving beyond the dining area, two substantial sofas upholstered in soft cream fabric face each other across a low table, their generous proportions suggesting comfort and invitation, with plush fur throws in silvery grey draped across their arms adding textural warmth like something soft enough to sink one's fingers into. Both floors and the spa area have all the characteristic elements of a mountain chalet, but at the same time luxury and timeless elegance. The logic of the individual areas is determined by the idea of the house to be a place to gather friends and guests, for relaxation and pleasure. The beautiful thread of the history of the Mountain Chalet, which dates back to the owner's childhood, spent under the wooden veranda of his grandfather's house, is strong enough to become the driving force of the project.
