Scanning from ceiling to floor, this kindergarten interior presents a dramatic double-height educational space approximately eight meters in height, dominated by a magnificent sculptural ceiling element occupying the upper right portion of the composition. This ceiling surface, clad in horizontal wooden planks arranged in flowing curved bands, suggests the warmth of sunlit honey and creates gentle wave-like undulations that seem to cascade downward like a frozen waterfall of timber. The wood ranges from pale blonde tones like fresh-cut birch to deeper caramel hues suggesting aged oak, with the grain patterns creating subtle linear textures reminiscent of combed sand. The remaining ceiling and wall surfaces present pristine white, smooth as eggshell and cool in contrast to the timber warmth. At center, a generously proportioned rectangular opening with softly rounded corners, framed in matching warm wood, provides a window into an adjacent preparation space where kitchen equipment and shelving are visible. Below this opening, built-in cabinetry and open shelving in light natural wood spans the width of the space, its compartments filled with wooden building blocks in various geometric shapes creating an inviting tactile landscape. The left portion features wall-mounted decorative elements and educational materials in cheerful accent colors including coral pink, sage green, and primary yellows and blues. In the foreground, two child-sized rectangular tables in pale wood accommodate small chairs featuring distinctive curved backrests shaped like animal ears, their white seats contrasting with natural wood frames. The flooring presents pale blonde wood planks running horizontally, smooth and cool underfoot. Ambient lighting from recessed fixtures creates even, shadowless illumination suggesting a calm, protected atmosphere ideal for focused learning and creative exploration.
