Golden A' Design Award Winner 2021
A beverage packaging presentation arranged against a two-toned backdrop, with bright sky blue filling the upper portion and warm peachy-orange covering the horizontal surface below. Scanning from left to right, the composition presents two distinct elements. On the left sits a transparent rectangular case, cool to the touch like acrylic plastic, containing laboratory-inspired glassware. Inside this case, five slender test tubes with open tops stand vertically at the rear, their clear glass suggesting crisp, clinical precision. Before these tubes, four small bottle vials rest in a row, each fitted with metallic silver caps that would feel smooth and cool. These vials contain liquids of different colors progressing from left to right: a bright coral red like ripe strawberries, a refreshing aquamarine reminiscent of tropical waters, a sunny yellow like golden sunshine, and the fourth echoing the aqua tone. Each vial bears a small X symbol in its respective color. A small pouring beaker with a handle sits at the far left within the case. The case displays bold white lettering spelling X-LAB along its base. Dominating the right portion stands a larger flask-shaped bottle, its form resembling scientific laboratory glassware, specifically an Erlenmeyer flask with a wide conical base tapering toward a narrow neck topped with a decorative crystalline stopper. This vessel contains warm amber liquid, glowing like honey or aged brandy, filling approximately two-thirds of the container. A prominent white X spans the bottle's center, creating strong contrast against the golden contents. Fine measurement gradations mark the bottle's surface in pale yellow, reinforcing the laboratory theme. The surface beneath shows subtle reflections of both containers, suggesting a glossy, mirror-like finish.
Mminni-X-Lab is a brandy designed for young people. X means unknown, infinite possibilities, goals and hopes in the design, which represents the exploration spirit of young people. The idea of design inspired by the product concept of towards the unknown and shine. In order to get rid of the traditional idea of brandy and produce a new brand recognition, the design uses unknown and color as the creative point to attract young people.
