Scanning from background to foreground across a deep blue-violet surface arranged at a diagonal angle, this image presents an extensive collection of tea packaging in various formats unified by sophisticated color and typography. Beginning at the upper portion, several flexible stand-up pouches in gradient tones moving from warm brown through sage green to cream feature Japanese calligraphy in dark ink, their tops sealed with metallic gold closures that catch ambient light. Moving toward the middle ground, cylindrical canisters of varying heights arrange themselves in loose diagonal rows, their surfaces wrapped in richly colored papers suggesting woven textile or handmade paper texture, colors including deep forest green like moss in shadow, warm rust reminiscent of autumn leaves, dusty rose suggesting dried flower petals, rich teal evoking deep ocean water, and burgundy with the warmth of aged wood. Each canister features cream-colored vertical labels bearing both calligraphic Japanese characters and smaller modern typography, while gold metal rims at top and bottom provide structural definition and material elegance. The tactile quality of these surfaces appears slightly rough, like fine handmade paper that would feel subtly granular beneath fingertips. Rectangular cartons in the left portion display similar cream labels against earth-toned backgrounds, their forms suggesting the crisp edges of traditional gift packaging. Light falls softly from the upper left, creating gentle shadows that angle toward lower right, establishing three-dimensional presence while maintaining even illumination that reveals surface texture and color nuance. The overall atmosphere feels calm and refined, suggesting the quiet ritual of tea preparation and the warmth of shared hospitality. Temperature sensations evoked include the coolness of the blue background surface and the warmth radiating from the earth-toned packages themselves.
Yamamotoyama is one of the oldest and most established tea merchants in Japan. It has been the first to sell Green tea today. With the concept of Return to the origin of Edo, Nosigner have redesigned the packages to keep the traditional tea culture alive and pass it on to the future. To make them modern while retaining the charm of the long history brand, Nosigner referred to the traditional colors and structure of the scrolls with Yamamotoyama's original small crests and the calligraphy style of Edo.
