This architectural visualization presents a nighttime view of two large dome-shaped structures positioned along a coastal landscape, rendered in cool blue and teal tones with selective warm lighting accents. Scanning from background to foreground, the upper portion features a dramatic gradient sky transitioning from deep midnight blue at top to rich teal toward the horizon, where a luminous full moon glows in the upper right area, pale and silvery like winter moonlight on still water. A small aircraft appears as a dark silhouette ascending past the moon, adding a sense of movement and scale. The horizon line reveals calm ocean waters rendered in muted blue-gray tones, with a small rocky island or outcrop visible at right, dark against the lighter water. The two primary architectural structures occupy the middle ground, their forms resembling giant ribbed shells or marine organisms. The larger dome at left rises prominently, its surface composed of horizontal bands or ribs that wrap around the curved form, appearing silvery-white and luminous against the dark sky, cool to the touch like polished metal or smooth composite material. The smaller dome at center-right echoes this ribbed vocabulary, with warm amber light glowing from its base where the structure meets the ground, suggesting interior illumination spilling outward like welcome firelight. Between and around these domes, the landscape flows with organic undulation, including a moss-covered mound at center that appears soft and verdant like spring growth, bright green against the predominantly cool palette. Pathways curve sinuously through the terrain, their pale surfaces suggesting smooth concrete or stone, cool and solid underfoot. Scattered throughout the landscape, tiny human figures walk and gather, their scale perhaps one-twentieth the height of the domes, emphasizing the monumental presence of these structures. A curving elevated roadway or bridge sweeps through the lower foreground, with small vehicles visible within, suggesting infrastructure that serves this resort complex. Dense vegetation borders the lower right corner, appearing as soft masses of deep green foliage. The overall atmosphere feels contemplative and otherworldly, like entering a dream of future coastal living.
The design is inspired by sea creatures, which Nanji Island is famous for, such as nudibranch. The "mollusk" lifts itself by its soft legs and stretches its tentacles to explore different directions. The public part of the hotel resembles a floating space above the sand. The sandy ground blends into the hotel to become an outdoor playground in the shadow cast by the building above. The building blends the boundaries between buildings and landscape by its organic form and flexible connectivity. Eco-friendly technologies have been installed to minimize the environmental impacts.
