Vanke Fontanelle Aesthetics Pavilion Experience Center

Scanning from left to right across a landscape-oriented architectural photograph, listeners encounter an exterior view of a contemporary pavilion space captured during early evening hours under an overcast sky rendered in soft pearl gray and lavender tones. The left third of the composition features a mature deciduous tree with a gracefully spreading canopy of sage and olive green leaves, its trunk and branches creating dark linear elements against the pale sky, and its entire form perfectly mirrored in a still reflecting pool that occupies the lower half of the image. This water feature extends across the full width of the composition, its surface appearing as deep charcoal with mirror-like stillness that captures inverted images of architecture, tree, and clouds with extraordinary clarity. Moving toward the center and right, the architecture presents as a series of horizontal volumes: a floating white ceiling plane extends outward creating deep overhangs, while floor-to-ceiling glass walls reveal an illuminated interior lounge space containing white upholstered chairs and tables arranged for social gathering. The glass appears nearly invisible, with only subtle reflections indicating its presence, creating seamless visual continuity between inside and outside realms. The interior glows with warm amber lighting suggesting comfortable refuge, contrasting with the cooler natural light outside. A delicate sculptural element, appearing as an intricately latticed vessel in warm golden tones, stands as a focal point visible through the pavilion windows. Along the water's edge, a band of smooth river pebbles in gray and taupe creates textural transition between polished surfaces and liquid reflection. The far background visible through the glass structure reveals distant trees and landscape rendered in muted blue-green tones suggesting atmospheric depth. To the left of the reflecting pool, a precisely trimmed geometric hedge of deep green creates formal garden character. The overall atmosphere conveys serene contemplation, luxurious refinement, and harmonious integration of human creation with natural setting.

The project is the experience center of the residential property Fontanelle developed by Vanke, located in Keqiao District, Shaoxing, China. Shaoxing is renowned as the Oriental Venice. The design team drew on the aesthetic of silk, integrating the poetic scenery of southern China with the stylish and ambience of Apennine peninsula, creating a modern space that leads a special lifestyle.
