Scanning this square-format image from background to foreground, we encounter an architectural corner where two concrete walls meet, their surfaces displaying the characteristic texture of cast concrete with small circular voids, mineral aggregates in gray and brown tones, and areas of darker staining suggesting moisture or weathering. The walls rise from a stepped concrete floor with at least two visible levels, the upper step positioned at left and the lower step occupying the center and right foreground. Natural light enters from the upper left, warm in temperature like afternoon sun, creating distinct shadows and highlighting surface irregularities. Positioned on the lower concrete step sits the primary subject, a stool constructed from approximately twenty parallel metal rods finished in a warm copper or terracotta color reminiscent of autumn leaves or terra cotta pottery. The rods curve gently across what would be the seating surface, creating a saddle-like form that dips slightly at center, then bend more sharply downward and outward, separating into three distinct leg groupings arranged to form a stable triangular base. Each rod measures roughly the diameter of a pencil and maintains consistent spacing from its neighbors throughout its length, creating a visually permeable structure through which we can see the concrete behind. The metal surface appears smooth and uniformly finished, catching light along each rod's upper curve and falling into subtle shadow along the undersides. Beneath the stool, an intricate pattern of linear shadows casts onto the concrete, echoing and extending the object's rhythmic quality. The overall impression balances industrial precision with organic fluidity, the warm metallic tones providing visual warmth against the cool gray surroundings. The stool's height appears suitable for standard seating, with leg groupings splaying outward for stability, the entire form suggesting both strength and delicacy through its open linear construction.
Vague is a de-constructed stool with structural curves which form its shape. An astonishing piece of furniture, for every different angle from which it is seen reveals a harmonious composition. The metal-cast stools bring out the poetry of what was the sketch inception; lines previously drawn morph into tubes and highlight the environment as a ready-to-enjoy object of art.
