Golden A' Design Award Winner 2021
This description presents a grand double-height interior atrium space designed as a sales center, organized from ceiling downward through the architectural volume. Scanning from above, the most commanding feature is an elaborate suspended light installation consisting of approximately eight interconnected ring-shaped fixtures of varying diameters, the largest spanning perhaps four meters across, all emitting warm white light that feels like soft morning sunlight. These rings appear to float and interweave through space at different heights, their circular forms suggesting gentle movement like ripples on calm water. The ceiling beyond the rings is a smooth pale surface dotted with small recessed lights resembling distant stars against a twilight sky. Moving down through the space, a sweeping curved balcony edge in pristine white follows an organic flowing line from left to center, its smooth surface cool and refined like porcelain. Behind this balcony, vertical metallic mesh panels catch light in silvery striations, their texture suggesting fine woven fabric with thousands of tiny perforations. The central focus at floor level is a large architectural scale model displayed on a white organic-shaped platform, presenting a miniature urban development with tiny towers, landscaped areas in moss green, and simulated waterways in soft blue. The floor throughout is polished gray terrazzo, smooth and cool underfoot, reflecting the overhead lights in soft pools of luminosity. To the right, a sculptural helical staircase spirals upward, its white continuous ribbon forming an elegant ascending gesture. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls reveal exterior courtyards with mature trees whose foliage provides fresh green contrast. The overall atmosphere feels spacious, serene, and aspirational, with soft ambient light creating an environment of refined calm.
The concept of green and health is used throughout the project, and the prefabricated and recyclable design embodies its own environmental protection idea. In the collocation of artworks and soft outfits, designers use geometric elements and radioactive lines to create a sense of future modernity. The furniture is detachable and washable as much as possible, and the design ingenuity can be found everywhere. In addition, the advantage of higher floor height gives more possibilities and manifestations of decorative lamps.
