Golden A' Design Award Winner 2020
Entering this double-height interior exhibition space designed by Shenzhen Innest Art Co., Ltd., the listener encounters a generous volume flooded with soft natural daylight from large windows along the back wall. Scanning from the ceiling downward, approximately two dozen pendant light fixtures hang at varying heights, each resembling an elongated teardrop or bottle shape in warm amber-toned glass, perhaps seven to ten inches tall, suspended on thin cables that create a constellation-like arrangement across the upper portion of the space. Moving leftward, a dramatic white angular structural column or beam cuts diagonally through the composition, its clean geometric form contrasting with the organic elements elsewhere. The floor beneath presents polished dark stone or terrazzo with subtle aggregate patterns, its mirror-like surface reflecting the furniture and greenery above, creating a sense of doubled space. At center, a substantial L-shaped sectional sofa upholstered in soft slate blue fabric, cool like a winter sky, occupies a cream-colored circular area rug featuring concentric ridged patterns radiating outward. Beside the sofa sits a sculptural armchair in matching blue with an organic curved backrest. A low dark coffee table holds books and a blue glass vase containing delicate dried botanical stems. To the right rises the most dramatic element: a living wall installation approximately twelve feet tall, densely planted with tropical vegetation including feathery ferns, spiky bromeliads, trailing vines, and succulent rosettes in colors ranging from deep forest green through bright chartreuse to burgundy and coral. Below this botanical tapestry, a glass-enclosed terrarium or water feature contains additional plantings visible through transparent panels. In the immediate foreground at right, a clear glass vase holds a generous bouquet of roses in warm peach-orange tones, their soft petals providing intimate warmth against the cooler background palette.
With elements of nature in it, the project tried to find a new way for people to know more about the brand culture while brings the attention of people to nature and environment itself. Also, the project divides the exhibition hall into several functional areas, which not only gives an overall demonstration of the style of furniture used, but also builds up the characteristics of the project itself.
